Here are some photos of our annual walk up the Itchen Way from the Woodmill Bridge, Swaythling, to Winchester. The walk is held annually in honour of a friend of Pete's who sadly isn't with us any longer. Pete and he (correctly) decided that walking to Winchester up the Itchen Way stopping at pubs en-route was much better fun than revising for their university exams. In those days, pub serving hours were only 12pm until 2pm on a Bank Holiday Monday. We've got it a lot easier these days!
